attempted.Whenunauthorizedentryoccurs,thesystemwillflashthe
park/turnlampsandwillsoundthehorn.
Thesystemisreadytoarmwheneverthekeyisremovedfromthe
ignition.Anyofthefollowingactionswillprearmthealarmsystem:

Pressthe
controlontheremoteentrytransmitter.
Lockthedoorswiththekeyinthekeycylinder.
Openthedriver’sdoorandpressthepowerdoorlockcontroltolock
allthedoors,andthenclosethedoor.
Note:Thedoors,liftgateandhoodwillarmindividually,andifanyof
themareopen,theymustbeclosedinordertobearmed.
Whenyoulockthevehicleusinganyofthemethodsabove:

thepark/turnlampswillflashoncetoindicatethehood,eachdoor
andtheliftgateareclosed.
thepark/turnlampswillnotflashifthehood,anydoorortheliftgate
areopen.Oncealldoors,hoodandliftgateareclosed,thepark/turn
lampswillflashtoconfirmthealarmwillbeset.
Whenthevehicleislocked,thealarmissetaftera20–secondarming
period.
Whenyoupressthe
controlontheremoteentrytransmittertwice
withinthreeseconds,thehornwillchirponcetoconfirmthedoors,
liftgateandhoodareclosedandlocked,andthealarmisset.
