Totiltthecolumn,pullthelever,locatedbehindtheturn
signalcontrol,towardyouandmovethesteeringwheel
up or down, as desired. Release the lever to lock the
steeringwheelfirmlyinplace.
Tilting the steering column while the vehicle is
movingisdangerous.Withoutastablesteeringcol-
umn,youcouldlosecontrolofthevehicleandhave
an accident. Adjust the column only while the ve-
hicleisstopped.Besureitislockedbeforedriving.

TRACTIONCONTROLSWITCH(TCS)—IF
EQUIPPED
Thissystemmonitorstheamountofwheelspinofeachof
the driven wheels. If wheel spin is detected, brake
pressure is applied to the slipping wheel(s) and engine
powerisreducedtoprovideenhancedaccelerationand
stability.AfeatureoftheTCSsystemfunctionssimilarto
a limited slip differential and controls the wheel spin
