TheTirePressureMonitorSystem(TPMS)consistsofthe
followingcomponents:

TirePressureMonitoringTelltaleLamp
The Tire Pressure Monitoring Telltale Lamp will illumi-
nateintheinstrumentclusterandanaudiblechimewill
beactivatedwhenoneormoreofthefouractiveroadtire
pressures are low. The audible chime will sound once
every ignition cycle for each low tire condition that it
detects. In addition, the Electronic Vehicle Information
Center(EVIC)willdisplaythenumberoftire(s)thatare
low,followedbythe“TireLowPressure”textmessage.
NOTE: Alow spare or compact tire pressure will not
causetheTirePressureMonitoringSystemTelltaleLamp
toilluminateorthechimetosound.
