the button will illuminate to indicate the rear window
defroster is ON. The defroster automatically turns off
afterabout10minutesofoperation.
OnvehiclesequippedwithAutomaticTemperatureCon-
trol(ATC),theclimatecontrolsystemfiltersoutdustand
pollenfromtheair.Refertosection7“AirConditioning”
forfilterreplacementinstructions.
CAUTION!
OutsideTemperatureDisplay
The outside temperature can be shown in the ATC
displaybypressingtheЉOUTSIDETEMPЉbutton.After
pressingthisbutton,thefrontseatpassenger’stempera-
ture setting display will be replaced with the current
outsidetemperature.PresstheЉOUTSIDETEMPЉbutton
again or press the passenger’s ЉTEMPЉ button to return
thedisplaytothepassenger’stemperaturesetting.
To avoid damaging the electrical conductors of the 4
rear window defroster, do not use scrapers, sharp
instruments, or abrasive window cleaners on the
interiorsurfaceofthewindow.
Labels can be peeled off after soaking with warm
water.
