Toprovideasaferenvironmentforsmallchildrenriding
intherearseats,thereardoorsareequippedwithachild
protectiondoorlocksystem.

NOTE: Whenthechildlocksystemisengaged,thedoor
can be opened only by using the outside door handle
even though the inside door lock is in the unlocked
position.
ToEngagetheChildProtectionDoorLock
1.
Openthereardoor.
2.
Insert the tip of the vehicle’s ignition key (or any
ChildLockControl
similar item) into the child lock control and slide it
upward.
3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to engage the Child Protection
DoorLockontheoppositereardoor.
NOTE: After engaging the child protection door lock
system, always test the door from the inside to make
certainitisinthedesiredposition.
