The power liftgate will not operate in temperatures
belowϪ12°F(Ϫ24°C)ortemperaturesabove143°F
(62°
C).Besuretoremoveanybuild-upofsnoworice
from the liftgate before pressing any of the power
liftgateswitches.

Ifyouarerequiredtodrivewiththeliftgateopen,
make sure that all windows are closed, and the
climatecontrolblowerswitchissetathighspeed.
DONOTusetherecirculationmode.
•
Ifthepowerliftgateencountersmultipleobstructions
within the same cycle, the system will automatically
stopandmustbeopenedorclosedmanually.
Gas props support the liftgate in the open position.
However,becausethegaspressuredropswithtempera-
ture, it may be necessary to assist the props when
openingtheliftgateincoldweather.
