WhenchangingoilfilteryoumustalsoreplacethefiltercapO-ring.The
oilfilterdrainplugO-ringmustalsobereplacedwhenevertheoilfilter
drainplugisremoved.ReuseoftheO-ringsmaycauseengineoilleakage
andmayresultinsevereenginedamage.Thecustomerwarrantymaybe
voidforanydamagetotheengineiftheO-ringsarenotreplaced.

ThePCVvalveisacriticalemissioncomponent.Itisoneoftheitems
listedinscheduledmaintenanceinformationandisessentialtothe
lifeandperformanceofyourvehicleandtoitsemissionssystem.
ForPCVvalvereplacement,seeyourauthorizeddealer.Referto
scheduledmaintenanceinformationfortheappropriateintervalsfor
changingthePCVvalve.
ReplacethePCVvalvewithonethatmeetsFordmaterialand
designspecificationsforyourvehicle,suchasaMotorcraftor
equivalentreplacementpart.Thecustomerwarrantymaybevoid
foranydamagetotheemissionssystemifsuchaPCVvalveisnot
used.

Forsparkplugreplacement,seeyourauthorizeddealer.Referto
scheduledmaintenanceinformationfortheappropriateintervalsfor
changingthesparkplugs.
ReplacethesparkplugswithonesthatmeetFordmaterialand
designspecificationsforyourvehicle,suchasMotorcraftor
equivalentreplacementparts.Thecustomerwarrantymaybe
voidforanydamagetotheengineifsuchsparkplugsarenot
used.
