IntermittentWiperSystem
WARNING!
Theintermittentfeatureofthissystemwasdesignedfor
usewhenweatherconditionsmakeasinglewipingcycle,
with a variable pause between cycles, desirable. For
maximumdelaybetweencycles,rotatethecontrolknob
intotheupperendofthedelayrange.
Sudden loss of visibility through the windshield
could lead to an accident. You might not see other
vehiclesorotherobstacles.Toavoidsuddenicingof
the windshield during freezing weather, warm the
windshieldwithdefrosterbeforeandduringwind-
shieldwasheruse.

Thedelayintervaldecreasesasyourotatetheknobuntil
it enters the LOW continual speed position. The delay
can be regulated from a maximum of about 15 seconds
between cycles, to a cycle every 2 seconds. The delay
intervalswilldoubleindurationwhenthevehiclespeed
is10mph(16km)orless.
WindshieldWashers
To use the washer, pull the lever toward you and hold
whilesprayisdesired.Iftheleverispulledwhileinthe
delayrange,thewiperwilloperatefortwowipecycles
aftertheleverisreleased,andthenresumetheintermit-
tentintervalpreviouslyselected.
IftheleverispulledwhileintheOFFposition,thewipers
willoperateforseveralwipecycles,thenturnoff.
