ous gas. Do not run the vehicle’s engine while
programmingHomeLink.Exhaustgascancausese-

Your motorized door or gate will open and close
while you are programming HomeLink. Do not
programHomeLinkifpeopleorpetsareinthepath
ofthedoororgate.Amovingdoororgatecancause
seriousinjuryordeathtopeopleandpetsordamage
toobjects.
Prior to programming HomeLink for the first time the
factory test codes must be erased. To erase HomeLink
memory,pressandholdthetwoouterHomeLinkbuttons
(buttons one and three). The message CLEARING
CHANNELSwillappearontheHomeLinkdisplay.After
approximately 20 seconds, the message CHANNELS
CLEAREDwillappearontheEVICdisplay.Donothold
thebuttonsforlongerthan30seconds.
