pressing the “Reset” button will clear out any warning
messagesintheodometerdisplay.
U.S. federal regulations require that upon transfer of
vehicleownership,thesellercertifytothepurchaserthe
correct mileage that the vehicle has been driven. There-
fore,iftheodometerreadingischangedduringrepairor
replacement, be sure to keep a record of the reading
beforeandaftertheservicesothatthecorrectmileagecan
bedetermined.

Odometer/TripOdometer
Avacuumfluorescentdisplayindicatesthetotaldistance
thevehiclehasbeendriven.Also,theclusterwilldisplay,
replacing the odometer/trip odometer, vehicle warning
messagessuchas:door/gate/glassajarandlowwasher
fluid.Seeappropriatesectionsformoreinformation.
14. CruiseIndicatorLight
This indicator lights when the speed control
systemisturnedON.
NOTE: If vehicle is equipped with the optional Elec-
tronicVehicleInformationCenter(EVIC)intheoverhead
console, the warnings “door”, “GATE”, “GLASS”, and
“LOWASH”willbedisplayedintheEVICdisplay(notin
theinstrumentcluster).Foradditionalinformation,refer
to“OverheadConsole—IfEquipped”inSection3.
15. OilPressureWarningLight
Showslowengineoilpressure.Thelightwillcome
on and remain on when the ignition switch is
turned from the OFF to the ON position, and the light
willturnoffaftertheengineisstarted.Ifthebulbdoes
not come on, have the system checked by your autho-
rizeddealer.
NOTE: Thewarnings“LOCOOL”and“GASCAP”will
alwaysbedisplayedintheodometerdisplay.
