andamountofairflowwillbe
automaticallycontrolled.
Pressthewindshielddefrosterswitch.
Inthisposition,theoutsideairpositionis
automaticallyselected,andtheair
conditionerautomaticallyturnson.The
airconditionerwilldirectlydehumidify
theairtothefrontwindshieldandside
windows(page6-4).Airflowamountwill
beincreased.

Usethetemperaturecontroldialto
selectadesiredtemperature.

Setthetemperaturecontroltothehot
orwarmpositionwhendefogging(
position):
Toturnoffthesystem,presstheOFF
switch.
Usingthe
positionwiththe
temperaturecontrolsettothecold
positionisdangerousasitwillcause
theoutsideofthewindshieldtofog
up.Yourvisionwillbehampered,
whichcouldleadtoaserious
accident.
NOTE
Settingthetemperaturetomaximumhigh
l
orlowwillnotprovidethedesired
temperatureatafasterrate.
Whenselectingheat,thesystemwillrestrict
l
airflowuntilithaswarmedtopreventcold
airfromblowingoutofthevents.
NOTE
Usethetemperaturecontroldialtoincrease
theairflowtemperatureanddefogthe
windshieldmorequickly.
