removeitbeforeenteringacar
washfacilityorpassingbeneatha
lowoverheadclearance.
Waxing
Yourvehicleneedstobewaxedwhen
waternolongerbeadsonthefinish.
Alwayswashanddrythevehiclebefore
waxingit.Inadditiontothevehiclebody,
waxthemetaltrimtomaintainitsluster.
Payspecialattentiontoremovingsalt,
dirt,mud,andotherforeignmaterialfrom
theundersideofthefenders,andmake
surethedrainholesintheloweredgesof
thedoorsandrockerpanelsareclean.

Usewaxwhichcontainsnoabrasives.
Waxescontainingabrasivewillremove
paintandcoulddamagebrightmetal
parts.
Insects,tar,treesap,birddroppings,
industrialfallout,andsimilardepositscan
damagethefinishifnotremoved
immediately.Whenpromptwashingwith
plainwaterisineffective,useamildsoap
madeforuseonvehicles.

Useagoodgradeofnaturalwaxfor
metallic,mica,andsolidcolors.
Whenwaxing,coatevenlywiththe
spongesuppliedorasoftcloth.
Thoroughlyrinseoffallsoapwith
lukewarmorcoldwater.Don'tallowsoap
todryonthefinish.
Wipeoffthewaxwithasoftcloth.
NOTE
Aspotremovertoremoveoil,tar,andsimilar
materialswillusuallyalsotakeoffthewax.
Rewaxtheseareaseveniftherestofthe
vehicledoesn'tneedit.
Afterwashingthevehicle,dryitwitha
cleanchamoistopreventwaterspotsfrom
forming.
