summer.Alwayslockthedoorsand
thetrunk,andasanaddedmeasure,
keeptherearseatbackslocked,
whetheryouhavechildreninyour
homeornot.
Whenoperatingtherearseatback
knob,makesureyousupportthe
seatbackwithyourhand.Ifthe
seatbackisnotsupportedwithyour
hand,itwillflipforwardsuddenly
andcouldcauseinjurytothefinger
thatpushestherearseatbackknob
down.

Unfastenthelapportionofthecenter-
rearseatbelt(page2-21).
Donotleavethekeyinyourvehicle
withchildrenandkeeptheminaplace
whereyourchildrenwillnotfindor
playwiththem:
Leavingchildreninavehiclewiththe
keyisdangerous.Thiscouldresultin
someonebeingbadlyinjuredoreven
killed.Childrenmayfindthesenew
kindsofkeystobeaninterestingtoy
toplaywithandcouldcausethe
powerwindowsorothercontrolsto
operate,orevenmakethevehicle
move.
CAUTION
Alwaysunfastenthelapportionof
thebeltbeforefoldingtherear-left
seatback.Leavingthelapportionof
thebeltfastenedcouldcause
damagetotheseatbelt,buckleand
seatback.

Positiontheoutboardseatbeltstothe
sidewhenfoldingtheseatbacksdown.
3. Supporttheseatbackwithyourhand.
Pushtherearseatbackknobdown.

Whenreturningarearseattoitsoriginal
position,alsoreplacetheseatbelttoits
normalposition.Verifythattheseatbeltpulls
outandretracts.
