THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
NOTE: Powerwindowswitcheswillalsoremainactive Key-In-IgnitionReminder
for up to 90 seconds after the ignition switch has been Opening the driver’s door when the Key Fob is in the

SENTRY KEYா
TheSentryKeyImmobilizersystempreventsunautho-
rized vehicle operation by disabling the engine. The
systemdoesnotneedtobearmedoractivated.Operation
isautomatic,regardlessofwhetherthevehicleislocked
orunlocked.
CAUTION!
An unlocked car is an invitation to thieves. Always
remove the Key Fob from the ignition and lock all
doorswhenleavingthevehicleunattended.
The system uses Key Fob with factory-mated Remote
Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter and Wireless Ignition
Node(WIN)topreventunauthorizedvehicleoperation.
Therefore, only Key Fobs that are programmed to the
