THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE

If the liftgate is locked and is not equipped with the

power liftgate feature, pressing the button on the RKE

transmitterwillresultintheliftgatebecomingunlocked

for 30 seconds allowing you to manually access the

liftgatearea.

Power Liftgate — If Equipped

Thepowerliftgatemaybeopenedmanuallyorbyusing

thebuttonontheRemoteKeylessEntry(RKE)transmit-

ter.Pressthebuttononthetransmittertwicewithinfive

seconds,toopenthepowerliftgate.Whentheliftgateis

fullyopen,pressingthebuttontwicewithinfiveseconds,

asecondtime,willclosetheliftgate.

OverheadConsoleMasterPowerSwitch

The power liftgate may also be opened and closed by

pressingthebuttonlocatedontheoverheadconsole.
