Tire Inflation Pressures
The proper cold tire inflation pressure is listed on the
driver’sside“B”Pillar.

Alwaysdrivewitheachtireinflatedtotherecom-
mendedcoldtireinflationpressure.
The tire pressure should be checked and adjusted, and
thetiresinspectedforsignsofwearorvisibledamage,at
leastonceamonth.Useagoodqualitypocket-typegauge
to check tire pressure. Do not make a visual judgement
whendeterminingproperinflation.Radialtiresmaylook
properlyinflated,evenwhentheyareunder-inflated.

Economy
Improper inflation pressures can cause uneven wear
patternstodevelopacrossthetiretread.Theseabnormal
wearpatternswillreducetreadliferesultinginaneedfor
earlier tire replacement. Under-inflation, also increases
tire rolling resistance and results in higher fuel
consumption.
CAUTION!
After inspecting or adjusting the tire pressure, al-
waysreinstallthevalvestemcap.Thiswillprevent
moisture and dirt from entering the valve stem,
whichcoulddamagethevalvestem.
RideComfortandVehicleStability
Proper tire inflation contributes to a comfortable ride.
Over-inflation produces a jarring and uncomfortable
ride.
