UNDERSTANDING YOUR INSTRUMENT PANEL

Controlling The iPodா Using Radio  Buttons
•
It may be necessary to remove the connector pin  TogetintotheUCI(iPod௡)modeandaccessaconnected
protectioncapfromthe16–pinconnectorport,priorto     iPod௡, press the “AUX” button on the radio faceplate.

not communicate with the UCI system until a mini-

When switched to UCI mode, the iPod௡ automatically
startsPlaymode.InPlaymode,usethefollowingbuttons
Using This Feature
By using the provided connection cable to connect an  on the radio faceplate to control the iPod௡ and display
iPod௡tothevehicle’sUCI16–pinconnectorport:          data:

TheiPod௡audiocanbeplayedonthevehicle’ssound
system,providingmetadata(artist,tracktitle,album,
etc.)informationontheradiodisplay.

Use the TUNE control knob to select the next or
previoustrack.

Turning it clockwise (forward) by one click, while
playingatrack,skipstothenexttrack.

TheiPod௡canbecontrolledusingtheradiobuttonsto
Play,Browse,andListtheiPod௡contents.
Turning it counterclockwise (backward) by  one
click,duringthefirsttwosecondsofthetrack,will
TheiPod௡batterychargeswhenpluggedintotheUCI
connector(ifsupportedbythespecificiPod௡device)
