Toavoiddamagetothetemporary
spareortothevehicle,observethe
followingprecautions:
Don'texceed80km/h(50mph).

TemporarysparesshouldNEVERbeused
forlongdrivesorextendedperiods.
Avoiddrivingoverobstacles.Also,
don'tdrivethroughanautomaticcar
wash.Thistire'sdiameterissmaller
thanaconventionaltire,sothe
groundclearanceisreducedabout43
mm(1.7in).

onIceorSnow:
Donotusetirechainsonanytypeof
tire,includingthesparetire.

Drivingwithasparetireonthefront
(driving)wheelsoniceorsnowis

andhaveanaccident.Putthespare
tireontherearaxleandmovea

anyothervehicle,ithasbeen
