TiltMirrorsinReverse—IfEquipped

TOOPENANDCLOSETHEHOOD

This additional feature provides automatic outside mir-

ror positioning which will aid the driver’s view of the

groundrearwardofthefrontdoors.Theoutsidemirrors

willmoveslightlydownwardfromthepresentposition

whenthevehicleisshiftedintotheReverseposition.The

outside mirrors will then return to the original position

whenthevehicleisshiftedoutofReverseposition.Each

stored memory setting will have an associated Tilt Mir-

rorsinReverseposition.

Toopenthehood,twolatchesmustbereleased.Firstpull

thehoodreleaseleverlocatedundertheleftsideofthe

instrumentpanel.

NOTE: The Tilt Mirrors in Reverse feature is not en-

abledwhendeliveredfromthefactory.TheTiltMirrorsin

Reverse feature may be enabled (or later disabled) by

referringtotheCustomerProgrammableFeaturesofthe

“ElectronicVehicleInformationCenter(EVIC)”section.
