TheAutomaticDoorLockscanbeenabledordisabledby
performingthefollowingprocedure:
AutoUnlockOnExit—IfEquipped
The doors will unlock automatically on vehicles with
powerdoorlocksif:
1.
Close all doors and place the key in the ignition
switch.
1. TheAutoUnlockfeatureisenabled,

intheOFFposition.(donotstarttheengine)
CycletheignitionswitchON/OFFfourtimesending
2. the transmission was in gear and the vehicle speed
returnedto0mph(0km/h),

Within10secondsofthefinalcycle,presstheinterior
3. thetransmissionisinNEUTRALorPARK,
driver’sdoorlockswitchtotheLOCKposition.

thedoorswerenotpreviouslyunlockedand

A single chime will sound to signify that you have
successfullycompletedtheprogramming.
Youcanturnthefeaturebackonbyrepeatingtheabove
mentionedprocedureorbyperformingtheprocedurein
the Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC), Cus-
tomer Programmable Features section on vehicles so
equipped.
TheAutomaticDoorLockscanbeenabledordisabledby
performingthefollowingprocedure:
