THINGSTOKNOWBEFORESTARTINGYOURVEHICLE
LIFTGATE
The liftgate can be unlocked using the remote keyless
entry or by activating the power door lock switches
locatedonthefrontdoors.
Onceunlocked,theliftgatecanbeopenedorclosed.To
open the liftgate, depress the liftgate release switch
locatedintheexteriorhandleandpulltheliftgateopen
withonefluidmotion.
LiftgateRelease
The liftgate will not manually open if the vehicle is in
gearorthevehiclespeedisabove0mph(0km/h).
NOTE:
•
Intheeventofapowermalfunctiontotheliftgate,an
emergency liftgate latch release can be used to open
