CDPlayerOperation
IfignitionpowerortheradioON/OFFswitchareturned
off, the pinch roller will automatically retract to protect
thetapefromanydamage.Whenpowerisrestoredtothe
tapeplayer,thepinchrollerwillautomaticallyreengage
andthetapewillresumeplay.
NOTE: TheignitionswitchmustbeintheONorACC
positionandthevolumecontrolONbeforetheCDplayer
willoperate.
InsertingTheCompactDisc
YoumayeitherinsertorejectadiscwiththeradioOFF.
DolbyNoiseReduction

TheDolbyNoiseReductionSystem*isonwhen-
everthetapeplayerison,butmaybeswitched
on/off.
IfyouinsertadiscwiththeignitionONandtheradiooff,
the display will show CD and the time of day will be
displayed.
ToturntheDolbyNoiseReductionSystemon/off:Press
theDolbyNRbutton(button2)afteryouinsertthetape.
TheNRlightinthedisplaywillgooffwhentheDolby
Systemisoff.
Ifthepowerison,theunitwillswitchfromradiotoCD
mode and begin to play when you insert the disc. The
display will show the track number and index time in
minutesandseconds.Playwillbeginatthestartoftrack
one.
