Becausenobodylikesgettingintoavery
hotcar,Mazdahasintroducedawayto
openthetwofrontwindowsandthe
moonroofasyouapproachthevehicleto
gettheairmovingbeforeyougetin.
Themoonroofcanbeoperatedforabout
40
secondsaftertheignitionswitchis
turnedfromtheONpositiontotheACC
orLOCKpositionwithalldoorsclosed.If
anydoorisopened,themoonroofwillbe
inoperable.
WARNING
Usetheauto-moonrooffunctiononly
whenyoucanseethevehicleanditis
inasecurearea:
Donotletchildrenplaywithyour
keys.Iftheyopenthemoonroof
withoutyourknowing,theopen
moonroofisanevenbiggerinvitation
toathiefthanleavingthedoors
unlocked.
NOTE
Forengine-offoperationofthemoonroof,the
switchmustbepushedfirmlythroughout
moonroofclosurebecausetheauto-closing
functionwillbeinoperable.

fromoutsidethevehicleafterthedoors
andtheliftgateareclosed.
Themoonroofcanbeopenedfor
ventilatingthecabinbeforegettinginthe
vehicle.

system)
Makesuretheopeningisclearbefore
closingthemoonroof:
Closingthemoonroofisdangerous.A
person'shands,head,orevenneck
couldbecaughtbythemoonroofand
resultinseriousinjuryorevendeath.
Thiswarningappliesespeciallyto
childrenandpets.
Pressonce,thenpressagainwithin1.5
secondsandhold.
Afterthedoorsandtheliftgateare
unlocked,thetwofrontwindowsandthe
moonroofopenaslongastheunlock
buttonispressed.
