securethetetherforchildsafety.First,
removetheanchorbracketcoveronthe
rearendtrim.
Alwaysattachthetetherstraptothe
correcttetheranchorposition:
Attachingthetetherstraptothe
incorrecttetheranchorpositionis
dangerous.Inacollision,thetether
strapcouldcomeoffandloosenthe
child-restraintsystem.Ifthechild-
restraintsystemmovesitcouldresult
indeathorinjurytothechild.

latchedbypushingitbackuntilitis
fullylocked.

theseatbottomslightlytoverifythe
locationsoftheLATCHloweranchors.
