immediatelyafterstartingthevehicle.

Iftheparkingbrakehasnotbeen
completelyreleasedandthevehicleis
drivenatabout5km/h(3mph)orfaster,a
continuousbeepsoundwillbeheardto
notifythedriverthattheparkingbrake
hasnotbeenreleased.

TheABScontrolunitcontinuously
monitorsthespeedofeachwheel.Ifone
isabouttolockup,theABSrespondsby
automaticallyreleasingandreapplying
thatwheel'sbrake.
Thewarninglightstaysonforafew
secondswhentheignitionswitchisturned
totheONposition.
Thedriverwillfeelaslightvibrationin
thebrakepedalandmayhearachattering
noisefromthebrakesystem.Thisis
normalwhentheABSoperates.Don't
pumpthebrakes,continuetopressdown
onthebrakepedal.
