powerwindowswitchturnsoff.Thelightmay
bedifficulttoseedependingonthe

Thepowerwindowscannotbeopenedor
closedfromoutsidethevehicleunderthe
followingcondition:

Adoorortheliftgateisopened.

Thekeyisinsertedintotheignition

switch.

WindowsfromOutside
Thestartknobisinanypositionexcept
LOCK.
Thepowerwindowsmaynotclose
completely.Makesureallthewindowsare
closed.
Thefrontpowerwindowscanbeopened
orclosedfromoutsidethevehicleafter
thedoorsandtheliftgateareclosed.
Thefrontpowerwindowsmaybe
operatedwhenthepowerwindowlock
switchonthedriver'sdoorisinthelock
orunlockedposition.

Ifthepowerwindowscannotbeclosed
completely,operateeachpowerwindow
switchfrominsidethevehicle.Afterclosing
thewindowsfromoutsidethevehicle,verify
thattheyarecompletelyclosed.

Makesuretheopeningisclearbefore

Closingpowerwindowsare
dangerous.Aperson'shands,head,
orevenneckcouldbecaughtbythe
windowandresultinseriousinjury
orevendeath.
Becausenobodylikesgettingintoavery
hotcar,Mazdahasintroducedawayto
openthetwofrontwindowsandthe
moonroofasyouapproachthevehicleto
gettheairmovingbeforeyougetin.
Thiswarningappliesespeciallyto
children.

Usetheauto-windowfunctiononly
whenyoucanseethevehicleanditis
inasecurearea:
Donotletchildrenplaywithyour
keys.Iftheyopenthewindow
withoutyourknowing,theopen
windowsareanevenbigger
invitationtoathiefthanleavingthe
doorsunlocked.
Thewindowscanbeopenedfor
ventilatingthecabinbeforegettinginthe
vehicle.
