andtheliftgatewillautomaticallylockifone
ofthedoorsortheliftgateisnotopenedwithin
about30seconds.
Panicbutton
Locking,unlockingthedoors
Ifyouwitnessfromadistancesomeone
attemptingtobreakintoordamageyour
vehicle,pressingthepanicbuttonwill
activatethevehicle'salarm.
Thedoorscanbelocked/unlockedusing
theauxiliarykey,refertoLocking,
UnlockingwithKey(page3-27).
Startingtheengine
NOTE
Theenginecanbestartedwiththe
auxiliarykey,refertoIgnitionSwitch
(page5-2).
Thepanicbuttonwillworkwhetheranydoor
ortheliftgateisopenorclosed.

Pressingthepanicbuttonfor1secondor
morewilltriggerthealarmforabout2
minutesand30seconds,andthe
followingwilloccur:
Thehornsoundsintermittently.

vehiclethepanicbuttonmaynotfunction.
