doorandholdit.Afterthedoorsand
theliftgatearelocked,themoonroof
closesaslongastherequestswitchis
pressed.
Iftheauto-lockfunction(page3-8)hasbeen
activated,thedoorsandtheliftgate
automaticallylockasyouwalkawayfromthe
vehicle,however,forsafetyreasons,the
moonroofcannotbeclosed.Whenleavingthe
vehicle,closethemoonroofusingthetiltor
slideswitchinsidethevehicle,thekey,ora
requestswitch.
Withkey
Request switch
1.
Insertthekeyinthedriver'sdoorkey
cylinder.
2.
Turnthekeytowardthebackandhold
it.Afterthedoorsandtheliftgateare
locked,themoonroofclosesaslongas
thekeyisturned.

Ifaperson'shands,headoranobject
blocksthemoonroofduringclosing
operation,themoonroofwillstopand
openhalfway.
WARNING
Makesurenothingblocksthe
moonroofjustbeforeitreachesthe
fullyclosedposition:
Close
Blockingthemoonroofjustbeforeit
reachestheclosedpositionis
dangerous.
Inthiscase,thejam-safefunction
cannotpreventthemoonrooffrom
stopping.Iffingersarecaught,
seriousinjuriescouldoccur.

Ifthedoorsandtheliftgatearelocked,
unlockthem.

Dependingondrivingconditions,aclosing

moonroofcouldstopandstartopening
whenthemoonrooffeelsashockthatis

functionwhilethemoonroofisinitializing.
