WhenTCSisonandyouattempttofreethe

vehiclewhenitisstuck,ordriveitoutof
freshlyfallensnow,theTCSwillactivate.
Depressingtheacceleratorwillnot
increaseenginepowerandfreeingthe
vehiclemaybedifficult.Whenthishappens,
turnofftheTCS.
TheDynamicStabilityControl(DSC)
automaticallycontrolsbrakingandengine
torqueinconjunctionwithsystemssuch
asABSandTCStohelpcontrolsideslip
whendrivingonslipperysurfaces,or
duringsuddenorevasivemaneuvering,
enhancingvehiclesafety.
IftheTCSisoffwhentheengineisturned
off,itautomaticallyactivateswhenthe
ignitionswitchisturnedon.

LeavingtheTCSonwillprovidethebest
traction.
IftheTCSisOFFwhenthevehiclespeedis
morethan30km/h(18mph),it
automaticallyactivatesandtheTCSOFF
indicatorlightwillturnoff.

DSCoperationispossibleatspeeds
greaterthan10km/h(6mph).
IftheTCSOFFswitchispressedandheld
for10secondsormore,theTCSOFF
switchmalfunctiondetectionfunction
operatesandtheTCSsystemactivates
automatically.TheTCSOFFindicatorlight
turnsoffwhiletheTCSsystemisoperative.

Donotrelyonthedynamicstability
controlasasubstituteforsafedriving:
Thedynamicstabilitycontrol(DSC)
cannotcompensateforunsafeand
recklessdriving,excessivespeed,
tailgating(followinganothervehicle
tooclosely),andhydroplaning
(reducedtirefrictionandroad
contactbecauseofwaterontheroad
surface).Youcanstillhavean
accident.
