Theadvancedkeylessfunctions(advancedkeylessentryandstartsystem)enablesthe
followingoperationswhiletheadvancedkeyisbeingcarried(page3-7).
Locking/unlockingthedoorsandtheliftgatewithoutoperatingthekey.

Startingtheenginewithoutoperatingthekey.

Theadvancedkeyenablesadditionalfunctionsotherthanthosewiththeadvancedkeyless
functions(page3-13).
Thefollowingoperationsarepossibleusingthetransmitterofthekeylessentrysystem

fromadistance(Lock/Unlock/Panicbutton):
Locking/unlockingthedoorsandtheliftgate.
l
Openingthepowerwindowsandthemoonroof.
l
Turningonthealarm.
l
Locking/unlockingthedoorsorstartingtheengineusingtheauxiliarykey.

WARNING
Donotleavethekeyinyourvehiclewithchildrenandkeeptheminaplacewhere
yourchildrenwillnotfindorplaywiththem:
Leavingchildreninavehiclewiththekeyisdangerous.Thiscouldresultinsomeone
beingbadlyinjuredorevenkilled.Thesenewkindsofkeysarefascinatingto
children.Theycouldplaywithpowerwindowsorothercontrols,orevenmakethe
vehiclemove.
Radiowavesfromtheadvancedkeymayaffectmedicalequipmentsuchas
pacemakers:
Beforeusingtheadvancedkeynearpeoplewhousemedicalequipment,askthe
medicalequipmentmanufactureroryourphysicianifradiowavesfromthe
advancedkeywillaffecttheequipment.

Thedrivermustcarrytheadvancedkeytoensurethesystemfunctionsproperly.
