followingoperationsarenotperformed
withinabout30seconds.
NOTE
Lockingthedoorswiththeinsidedoor-lock
knobwillnotarmthesystem.
Adoorortheliftgateisopened.
Theauxiliarykeyinsertedintothe
ignitionswitch(withadvancedkey).

After20seconds,thesystemisfully
armed.

Thekeyisinsertedintheignitionswitch.

Thestartknobispushed(withadvanced

key).
TheignitionisswitchedON.

Thesystemwilldisarmifoneofthe
followingoperationstakesplacewithin20
secondsafterclosingandlockingallthe
doorsandtheliftgate:

Pressingtheunlockbuttononthe

transmitter.
Anydoorortheliftgateisopened.
l
Unlockingadoorwiththeinsidedoor-
l
lockknob.
Unlockingthedriver'sdoorwiththekey.
l
Thehoodisopened.
l
Thekeyisinsertedintheignitionswitch.
l
Theauxiliarykeyinsertedintothe
l
ignitionswitch(Withadvancedkey).
Thestartknobispressedintothe
l
ignitionswitchorarequestswitchis
pressed(Withadvancedkey).
TheignitionswitchisturnedtotheON
l
position.
Torearmthesystem,dothearming
procedureagain.
Whenthedoorsarelockedbypressingthe
lockbuttononthetransmitterorrequest
switchonthefrontdoorsorusingthekey
whilethetheft-deterrentsystemisarmed,
thehazardwarninglightswillflashonceto
indicatethatthesystemisarmed.
