Topullouttheseatbelt,slidetheseatbelt
tongue(A)withyourfingerwhilemoving
itdownward,andslowlypullouttheseat
beltfromtheceilingrecess.
CAUTION
Alwaysunfastenthelapportionof
thebeltbeforefoldingtheleft-rear
seatback.Leavingthelapportionof
thebeltfastenedcouldcause
damagetotheseatbelt,seatbelt
buckleandseatback.
qStowingandpullingoutthe
Center-RearPositionSeatBelt
Thecenter-rearpositionseatbeltcanbe
stowedusingthefollowingprocedure.
CAUTION
Whenstowingtheseatbelt,make
surethebeltislockedsecurelyinto
therecess.Iftheseatbeltisnot
properlystowed,itmightgetcaught
intheseatsandbedamaged.
NOTE
Toencouragerearseatpassengerstowear
l
theirseatbelts,wesuggestleavingthe
center-rearlappositionofthebeltfastened
atalltimesexceptwhenfoldingtherear
seatforward.
Tostowtheseatbelt,retractthebelt,put
theseatbelttongues(A)and(C)together
andinsertthemintotherecess.
Pullingtheseatbeltallthewayoutwill
l
switchittoautomaticlockingmode.If
automaticlockingmodeisnotneeded,
retracttheseatbeltfullytoconvertitback
toemergencylockingmode.

qRe-attachingtheSeatBeltafter
theRearSeatbacksareReturned
totheirUprightPositions
Tore-attachthecenterseatbeltafterthe
rearseatsarereturnedtotheirupright
positions,grasptheseatbelttongue(A)
andinsertitintotheseatbeltanchor
buckle(B)untilyouhearaclicksound.It
isnowsecureforpassengeruse.

NOTE
Afterreturningtheleft-rearseatbacktoits
uprightposition,fastenthelapportionofthe
belt.
