Pressarequestswitchortheunlock

buttononthetransmitter.
TurnthestartknobtotheON

position.
Alabelindicatingthatyourvehicleis
equippedwithaTheft-DeterrentSystemis
intheglovecompartment.
Thehazardwarninglightswillflashtwice
toindicatethatthesystemisturnedoff.
NOTE
Mazdarecommendsthatyouaffixittothe
lowerrearcornerofafrontdoorwindow.
Whenthedoorsareunlockedbypressingthe
unlockbuttononthetransmitterorrequest
switchonthefrontdoorsorusingthekey
whilethetheft-deterrentsystemisturnedoff,
thehazardwarninglightswillflashtwiceto
indicatethatthesystemisturnedoff.
qToStopanAlarm
Atriggeredalarmcanbeturnedoffby
anyoneofthefollowingmethods:
Unlockadoorwiththekey.

Presstheunlockbuttononthekeyless
l
entrysystemtransmitter.
Theengineisstartedwiththeignition
l
key.

l
Pressarequestswitch.
l
Presstheunlockbuttononthe

transmitter.
Theengineisstartedwiththestart
l
knob.
NOTE
Ifyouhaveanyproblemwiththetheft-
