Installationoffront-endequipment,suchasfrontalprotectionbar(kangaroobar,
bullbar,pushbar,orothersimilardevices),snowplow,orwinches,isdangerous.The
airbagcrashsensorsystemcouldbeaffected.Thiscouldcauseairbagstoinflate
unexpectedly,oritcouldpreventtheairbagsfrominflatingduringanaccident.
Frontoccupantscouldbeseriouslyinjured.
Donotmodifythesuspension:
Modifyingthevehiclesuspensionisdangerous.Ifthevehicle'sheightorthe
suspensionismodified,thevehiclewillbeunabletoaccuratelydetectacollisionor
roll-overaccidentresultinginincorrectorunexpectedairbagdeploymentandthe
possibilityofseriousinjuries.
DonotusetiresorwheelsotherthanthosespecifiedforyourMazda:
UseofanytireorwheelotherthanthosespecifiedforyourMazda(page10-7)is
dangerous.Useofsuchwheelswillpreventthevehicle'saccidentdetectionssystem
fromaccuratelydetectingacollisionorroll-overaccidentresultinginincorrector
unexpectedairbagdeploymentandthepossibilityofseriousinjuries.
Donotoverloadyourvehicle:
Overloadingyourvehicleisdangerousasiscouldpreventtheairbagcrashsensor
systemfromaccuratelydetectingacollisionorroll-overaccidentresultingin
incorrectorunexpectedairbagdeploymentandthepossibilityofseriousinjuries.
Thegrossaxleweightrating(GAWR)andthegrossvehicleweightrating(GVWR)for
yourvehicleareontheMotorVehicleSafetyStandardLabelonthedriverdoor
frame.Donotexceedtheseratings.
Donotdrivethevehicleoff-road:
DrivingyourMazdaoff-roadisdangerousbecausethevehiclehasnotbeendesigned
todosuch.Drivingthevehicleoff-roadcouldpreventtheairbagcrashsensorsystem
fromaccuratelydetectingacollisionorroll-overaccidentresultinginincorrector
unexpectedairbagdeploymentandthepossibilityofseriousinjuries.
