The R-Class comes equipped with electronic assistants that can help you to avoid potential accident situations. Their vigilance means increased
safety levels for all – and a more relaxing journey for you.
Blind Spot Assist (optional). Active at speeds
of above 19mph, Blind Spot Assist monitors
the hard-to-see area to the rear and side of the
car. If it detects a vehicle in this blind spot and
thus the potential for a collision, the system
alerts the driver via a warning signal in
an additional acoustic warning is sounded. The
warnings are also triggered by a car moving into vehicle in front is too close, Distronic intervenes
