Luggage capacity. With all the rear seats folded
forward, the standard-wheelbase R-Class has
a maximum load length of almost two metres
and a luggage capacity of up to 1,950 litres
– enabling it to carry bicycles or a bulky sofa
with ease. What’s more, even your luggage can
travel in luxury, thanks to the load compart-
ment’s high-quality velour floor covering.
Easy-Pack powered tailgate (optional). The
optional Easy-Pack powered tailgate opens
and closes at the touch of a button and can be
stopped in any position – to avoid hitting low
garage ceilings for instance.
