With an extra 235 millimetres between the
wheels, the R350 CDI L offers even higher
levels of space and comfort. The additional
length makes little difference in driving, but for
rear seat occupants, it means noticeably more
legroom, especially for those in the third row of
seats. It increases luggage capacity too – by up
to 435 litres.
seats are folded forward, the R350 CDI L has a
maximum load length of up to 2.19 metres,
enough to accommodate surfboards with ease.
With the third row of seats folded down, the
long-wheelbase version offers 1,067 litres of
luggage space. And if the second row of seats
are pushed back to their rearmost position, the
distance to the front seat backs rises to as much
as 990 millimetres – the kind of legroom more
usually associated with luxury limousines.
What no limousine can give you, however, is a
load compartment with up to 2,385 litres of
