Once  a Mont h
Second  is  Sched ule  “A”.  It  is for  vehicles   that  are  not
operated  und er  any of the  cond itions listed  und er Sched -
ule  “B.”
Check  the tire  pressu re  and  look for  unu sual  wear  or
damage.
Insp ect the battery  and  clean and  tighten  the term inals
as requ ired .
Use the  sched ule that  best  describes  you r driving   cond i-
tions.   Where  time   and   mileage   are  listed ,  follow   the
interval  that  occurs  first.

•  Checkoperation.all lights  and all other  electrical  item s for correct

At Each  Oil  Cha nge

Change  the  engine  oil filter.
Insp ect the  exhau st system .
Insp ect brake  hoses.
At Each  Stop  for  Fuel
Check the  engine  oil level abou t 5 minu tes after  a fully
warm ed engine  is shu t off. Checking the  oil level while
the  vehicle  is on  level grou nd  will  improve  the  accu-
racy  of the  oil  level  read ing.  Add  oil  only  when  the
level  is at or  below  the ADD  or  MIN mark.
Check  the coolant   level, hoses,  and  clamps.
Insp ect   manu al    transm ission     fluid
