THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING  YOUR VEHICLE
WARN ING!
An  incorrectly   anchored    teth er  strap  could   lead  to
increased   head   motion   and   possib  le  injury   to  the
child . Use  only  the anchor   position  s directly  behind
the  child   seat  to  secu re a  child   restrain t  top  teth er
strap .
Child ren  Too Large  for  Booster  Seats
Child ren who  are large  enou gh to wear  the  shou lder belt
comfortably,   and  whose   legs  are  long  enou gh  to  bend
over  the  front of  the  seat when   their  back is  against  the
seat back  shou ld use  the lap/  shou lder  belt in a  rear seat.
Make  sure  that the  child  is seated  upright   in the  seat.
The lap  belt portion   shou ld be low  on the  hip s and  as
snu g as possible.
Rear  Seat  Tether  Anchor
Check   belt  fit  period  ically.  A  child ’s squ irm ing  or
slou ching can  move  the  belt out  of position.
