UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR  VEHICLE
TILT STEERING COLUMN
WARN ING!
To tilt the column,  push  down  on the  lever below  the turn
signal   control   and   move   the  wheel   up   or  down,   as
desired . Pull  the  lever back  upward  s to  lock the  column
firm ly in place.
Tiltin g  the   steerin  g  colu mn  while    the   veh icle  is
movin g  is dangerou  s.  With out a  stab le steerin  g col-
umn,  you  could  lose  control  of  the veh icle  and  have
an  accid ent.  Adjust   the  colu mn  only  while   the  ve-
hicle  is stop ped.  Be  sure  it is  lock ed before  drivin  g.
ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROL
When  engaged , this  device  takes  over  accelerator  opera-
tions  at   speed s  greater   than  35  mph   (60  km/  h).  The
controls  are mounted  on  the steering  wheel  and consist  of
ON·OFF, SET, RESUME/  ACCEL, CAN CEL, and  COAST
controls.
