Failuretokeepthesensorscleanmay
resultinsensormiscalculationorfalse
indications.
Note:Akerborroadedgemarkingisnot
requiredasthesystemwillaligntoa
vehicleorobjectatthefront.
Perpendicularparkassist:Foraparking
spacethatisat90°tothevehicle.
Parkout:Forexitingaparallelparking
space.
Parkassistmustnotbeusedif:

Atemporarysparewheelisinuse.

damagedsufficientlytoaffectasensor
mountingpoint.
Asensorisdamagedorthebumperis

Asensorisobstructedbyitems
attachedtothevehicle,e.g.,bumper
covers,abicyclerack,atrailer,stickers,
etc.

aloadthatextendsbeyondthevehicle
perimeter,forexampleatrailer.
Thevehicleisbeingusedtotransport
Note:Allofthedoorsandthetailgatemustbe
securelyclosed.
AshortpressoftheParkassistbuttonwill
switchontheParkassistsystem.Further
presseswillscrollthroughtheParkassist
options.Toswitchoffthesystem,repeatedly
pressuntiltheLEDonthebuttonextinguishes.
Note:DuringanyParkassistmanoeuvre,the
Parkingaidsystemwillremainactiveandwill
soundwhenobjectsaredetectednearthe
vehicle.
Note:Aparkingmanoeuvrecanbecancelledat
anypointbyholding/turningthesteeringwheel
orbypressingtheParkassistbutton.
Parkassistsensorsmaynotdetect
movingobjects,suchaschildrenand
animals,untiltheyaredangerously
close.Alwaysuseextremecaution
whenmanoeuvringandalwaysuse
yourmirrors.
Parkassistisadrivingaidonly.It
remainsthedriver'sresponsibilityto
drivewithduecareandattention
duringparkingmanoeuvres.
