shampoo.
Neveraimahosewaterjetdirectlyat
theengineairintake,heaterairintakes,
bodysealsoratanycomponentswhich
maybedamaged.
ParkassistandParkingaidssensorsshouldbe
keptcleantomaintainaccuracyand
performance.
Donotuseahighpressurewasheror
steamcleanerintheengine
compartment.
UNDERBODYMAINTENANCE
Regularlyflushtheunderbodywithplainwater,
andpayparticularattentiontoareaswhere
mudanddebriscollect.
Followingcleaningofthevehicle
exterior(particularlywithapressure
washer),itisrecommendedthatthe
vehicleistakenforashortdrivetodry
outthebrakes.
Ifdamageorcorrosionaredetected,havethe
vehiclecheckedbyyourDealer/Authorised
Repairerassoonaspossible.
Substanceswhicharecorrosive,such
asbirddroppingsandtreeresin,can
damagethevehicle’spaintworkand
shouldberemovedassoonaspossible.
AFTEROFF-ROADDRIVING
Useonlycleaningproductsapproved
foruseonvehicles.
Cameralensesmustbetreatedwith
care.Cleanwithalowpressurehose
andwipewithadampcloth.
Stubbornstainssuchastarspotsandgrease
onthepaintworkmayrequiretheuseofwhite
spirit.Afteruse,makesuretheareaiswashed
immediatelywithwarmsoapywatertoremove
alltracesofthespirit.
Note:Donotapplypolishtoanyunpainted
areasofthebumpermouldings.Itwillbecome
ingrainedinthetexturedfinish.
Makesuretheareasaroundairintakes
andthefrontgrillearecleanandclearof
debris.Payparticularattentiontothe
lowergrilleandradiator.Failuretodo
somaycausetheenginetooverheat,
leadingtosevereenginedamage.
Makesurethevehicleundersideiscleanedas
soonaspossibleafterdrivingoff-road.
