whenthevehicleistravellinginexcess
of24km/h(15mph).Neverattemptto
engagereversegearwhilethevehicleis
inforwardmotion.Thismayresultin
serioustransmissiondamageand
costlyrepairs.
IftheengineisswitchedoffwithNselected,the
systemwillwaitfor10minutesbefore
selectingP.Thisdelayallowsthevehicle
enoughtimetobeconveyedthroughacar
wash.
Agearshiftindicatorwarninglampwill
illuminatebrieflyattherecommended(upshift)
gearchangepoint.See46,GEARSHIFT
(GREEN).
IFTHESELECTORFAILSTOELEVATE
Ifthedriveselectorisobstructed,removethe
obstructionandthenstarttheengine.The
selectorshouldelevateasnormal.
