EVENTDATARECORDING
Inordertoproperlydiagnoseandserviceyour

informationthroughadirectconnectionto
yourvehicle.
ThisvehicleisequippedwithanEventData
Recorder(EDR).ThemainpurposeofanEDR
istorecord,incertaincrashornearcrash-like
situations,suchasanairbagdeploymentor
hittingaroadobstacle,datathatwillassistin
understandinghowavehicle'ssystems
performed.TheEDRisdesignedtorecorddata
relatedtovehicledynamicsandsafetysystems
forashortperiodoftime,typically30seconds
orless.TheEDRinthisvehicleisdesignedto
recordsuchdataas:
Howvarioussystemsinyourvehiclewere
operating.
Whetherornotthedriverandpassenger
seatbeltswerebuckled/fastened.
Howfar,ifatall,thedriverwaspressing
theacceleratorand/orbrakepedal.
Howfastthevehiclewastravelling.
Toaccessthisinformationspecialequipment
mustbeconnecteddirectlytotherecording
modules.LandRoverdonotaccessEDR
informationwithoutobtainingconsentunless
pursuanttoacourtorderorwhererequiredby
lawenforcement,othergovernmentauthorities
orthirdpartiesactingwithlawfulauthority.
