immediatelyifaSmartkeyislostorstolen.
Whenapproachingthevehicleduring
darkness,presstoswitchonthe
approachillumination.Pressagainto
turntheapproachlampsoff.
9. Keylessentry/exit:
Exteriordoorhandleshaveseparate
unlockandlocksensors.Theunlock
sensorislocatedontheinnersurface
ofthehandle.
Theapproachilluminationperiodsetat
thefactoryis30seconds.Thisdelay
periodmaybeconfiguredtoprovide
illuminationlastingbetween0and240
seconds.See40,INSTRUMENT
PANELMENU.
SINGLE/MULTI-POINTENTRY
Whenyoupresstheunlockbutton,thevehicle
willunlockin1of2ways:
Note:Insomemarketsasecondpressof
thebuttonwillturnontheheadlampsand
reversinglamps.Athirdpresswillbe
requiredtoturnthelampsoff.

Single-pointentry:Unlocksthedriver's
doorandfuelfillerflaponly.Asecond
pressisrequiredtounlocktheremaining
doorsandthetailgate.

Emergencykeyaccess:Slideopentheside
covertorelease,thenremove.

Multi-pointentry:Unlocksallofthedoors,
thefuelfillerflapandthetailgateonthe
firstpress.
Removetheemergencykeybladeand
unfold.
TochangefromSingletoMulti-pointentry(or
viceversa),pressboththelockandunlock
buttonssimultaneouslyfor3seconds.The
hazardwarninglampswillflashtwiceto
confirmthechange.
IftheSmartkeyfailstoopenthevehicle,
insertthekeybladeintotheslotatthebase
ofthedoorlockcover.Thedoorlockcover
ismarkedwithakeysymbol.Toreleasethe
cover,gentlyleverthekeybladeupwards.
Carefullytwistthekeyblade,toleverthe
coverofftheretainingclips.Insertthekey
bladeintotheexposedlockandturnto
operatethelock.Thealarmwillsound.To
disarmthealarm,see84,KEYLESSSTART
BACKUP.
Thisfeaturemayalsobesetviathesettings
menu.See40,INSTRUMENTPANELMENU.
Note:If,whenthevehicleisunlocked,an
audiblewarningisemitted,thiswillbea
mislockerror.Theremaybeafaultwitheither
ofthealarmsensors.Consulta
Dealer/AuthorisedRepairerassoonas
possible.
Note:Whenreplacingthedoorlockcover,
locatethetopretainingclipsbefore
pushingthecoverintoposition.
GLOBALOPENING
PressandholdtheSmartkeyunlockbuttonfor
secondstounlockthevehicleandopenallthe
windows.
Note:Whentheleftfrontdoorisunlocked
usingthekeyblade,thealarmwillsound
untiltheSmartkeyispositionedcorrectly.

Note:AreplacementSmartkeycanbe
obtainedonlyfromyourDealer/Authorised
Repairer.TheDealer/AuthorisedRepairer
willrequireproofofidentificationand
ownership.
PressanybuttonontheSmartkeytocancel
theoperation.
