Replacementofthebatterywillnotcausetheremotetransmitterto
becomedeprogrammedfromyourvehicle.Theremotetransmittershould
operatenormallyafterbatteryreplacement.
Replacing lost transmitters
Takeallyourvehicle’stransmitters
toyourdealerifserviceisrequired.
Ifyoupurchaseadditional
transmitters(uptofourmaybe
programmed),performthefollowing
procedure:
Toreprogramthetransmitters,place
thekeyintheignitionandturn
fromOFFtoONeighttimesinrapid
succession(within10seconds)
endinginON.Afterdoorslock/unlock,pressanycontrolonall
transmitters(uptofour).Witheachcontrolpressofthetransmitters,
thedoorshouldcycle(lock/unlock)toconfirmprogramming.When
completed,turntheignitiontoOFF.Thedoorlocksshouldcycle
(lock/unlock)onelasttimeandthehornwillchirptoconfirmcompletion
ofprogramming.
Alltransmittersmustbeprogrammedatthesametime.
Illuminated entry
InteriorlampswillilluminatewhenUNLOCKorPANICcontrolis
pressed.Thelampswillilluminateforapproximately20secondsoruntil
thekeyisinsertedintheignitionandturnedtoONoruntilLOCK
controlispressed.ThedomelampmustbesettotheDOORpositionin
orderfortheilluminatedentrysystemtooperate.
ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (IF EQUIPPED)
Whenarmed,theanti-theftsystemwillhelppreventyourvehiclefrom
unauthorizedentry.
Ifthereisanypotentialperimeteranti-theftproblemwithyourvehicle,
ensureALLkeyfobs(remoteentrytransmitters)arebroughttothe
dealership,toaidintroubleshooting.
