LOW).InR(Reverse)orin4L(4X4LOW),ABSandthetraction
enhancementfeaturewillcontinuetofunction.
TheAdvanceTrac௢buttonallows
thedrivertocontroltheavailability
oftheAdvanceTrac௢system.
AdvanceTrac௢systemstatusis
indicatedbyawarningindicator
lightwitha“slidingcar”iconintheinstrumentclusterthatwillflash
whenthesystemisactiveandanindicatorlightinthecontrolbutton
thatwillilluminatewhenthesystemisturnedoff.Invehicleswitha
messagecenter,themessage“ADVANCETRACOFF”willbedisplayed.
IfafailureisdetectedintheAdvanceTrac௢system,thewarning
indicatorlightintheinstrumentclusterwillstayon.Ifthewarning
indicatorlightintheinstrumentclusterremainsonwhiletheengineis
running,havethesystemservicedimmediately.
PressingthecontroloncewilldisabletheAdvanceTrac௢stability
enhancementandtheenginepowerreductionportionofthetraction
enhancementfeature;thebrakeportionofthetractionenhancement
featurewillstillfunctionnormally.Pressingandholdingthecontrolfor
morethanfivesecondswilldisabletheAdvanceTrac௢stability
enhancementandtractionenhancementfeature.Ifthevehicleisstuck
insnowormudorwhendrivingindeepsand,switchingoffthe
AdvanceTrac௢systemmaybebeneficialsothewheelsareallowedto
