Severe climates
Ifyoudriveinextremelycoldclimates(lessthan–36°C[–34°F]),it
maybenecessarytoincreasethecoolantconcentrationabove50%.
Refertothechartonthecoolantcontainertoensurethecoolant
concentrationinyourvehiclewillprovideadequatefreezeprotection.
Neverincreasetheenginecoolantconcentrationabove60%
(protectionto–60°F).Atalevelover60%,yourenginecouldoverheat
andbecomedamaged.
Ifyoudriveinextremelyhotclimates,itisstillnecessarytomaintainthe
coolantconcentrationat50/50coolantandwater.Donotallowthe
coolantconcentrationtofallbelow40%coolant.Ataconcentration
lessthan40%,thecorrosionprotectiontoyourengineandcooling
componentsmaybecompromisedandpermanentdamagemayresult.

Iftheenginecoolantsupplyisdepleted,thisfeatureallowsthevehicleto
bedriventemporarilybeforeincrementalcomponentdamageisincurred.
