message“COMPUTINGFUEL”or“–––”willappearinthemessage
center.Thecorrectfueleconomywillappearwithinapproximatelyfive
milesofdriving.

Selectingthisfunctionfromthe
INFOmenuestimatesapproximately
howfaryoucandrivewiththefuel
remaininginyourtankunder
normaldrivingconditions.
RemembertoturntheignitionOFF
whenrefuelingtoallowthisfeaturetocorrectlydetecttheaddedfuel.
TheDTEfunctionwilldisplayLOWFUELLEVELandsoundatonefor
onesecondwhenyouhaveapproximately80km(50miles)toempty.If
youRESETthiswarningmessage,thisdisplayandtonewillreturn
within10minutes.
DTEiscalculatedusingarunningaveragefueleconomy,whichisbased
onyourrecentdrivinghistoryof800km(500miles).Thisvalueisnot
thesameastheaveragefueleconomydisplay.Therunningaveragefuel
economyisreinitializedtoafactorydefaultvalueifthebatteryis
disconnected.
