Beparticularlycarefulifyouaretaking“Antabuse”orotherformsof
disulfiramforthetreatmentofalcoholism.Breathinggasolineand/or
ethanolvapors,orskincontactcouldcauseanadversereaction.In
sensitiveindividuals,seriouspersonalinjuryorsicknessmayresult.If
fuelissplashedontheskin,promptlywashskinthoroughlywithsoap
andwater.Consultaphysicianimmediatelyifyouexperiencean
adversereaction.

FFVfueltanksmaycontainzeroto85percentethanol.Anyfuel
blendscontaininggasolineandethanolshouldbetreatedthesameas
“
FuelEthanol”.ToidentifyifyourvehicleisanFFV,checkyourVIN
orthelabelontheinsideofyourfuelfillerdoor.Whencheckingthe
VINlookfortheenginetypeidentifier(8thcharacter).Ifyourvehicle
isanFFV,thenthecharacterwillbelabeledasa“K.”
Pureethanolisthealcoholwhichistheintoxicatingagentinliquor,beer
andwine.Itisdistilledfromthefermentationofplantssuchasfieldcorn
andsugarcane.Whenethanolisusedinthemakingofmotorfuels,a
smallamountofabadtastingchemicalisaddedtodiscouragebeverage
use.TheresultingfueliscalledE 100meaning100%pureethanol
